Manish Holani

Director – Commercial & Ops.

Manish Holani holds a PGDBA and MICS (London) and has been working with USL since 1999. He has over 15 years experience in major business aspects of Accounts, MIS, Ship-chartering, Operations and Key accounts management. He has strong numeracy skills & understanding of commercials and has been actively involved in providing critical commercial analyses for new business opportunities as well as for existing business. He is also involved in providing Operational Cost Analysis for decision making and control.

Mr. Nagendra Agarwal


Mr. Nagendra Agarwal joined company in 1996. As the Company Secretary, he is responsible for managing general meetings and Board procedures and ensuring that the Board is ably equipped with resources to discharge its fiduciary duties and corporate governance practices. As the Legal Head, he holds the legal function to identify , prioritize, measure, monitor and act, various claims and legal issues of the Company including attending court matters and drafting and vetting of all types of business and contractual agreements.

Mr. Nagendra Agarwal is the focal point for communication with the regulatory authorities, port authorities, customs, the Board, Senior management, and shareholders. He is having experience of Finance and cost analysis. He is actively involved in decision making of various insurance covers of the Company. He is having experience of automatic bagging operations and is also responsible for maintaining of jetty.

Capt. Dinyar Karai


Capt. Dinyar Karai, inter Commerce, served in the Indian Army and retired as Captain. He has over 25 years experience in the field of Shipping and Maritime Logistics.

Mr. Paras Dakalia


Mr. Paras Dakalia graduated with a Master’s degrees in Commerce from the University of Jodhpur, India. He qualified for C.A. from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1975 and completed his Articleship from a reputed C.A. firm M/s C. C. Chokshi & Co. in Ahmedabad. He served in various organizations, including IFFCO, and provided his valuable advise on taxation and audit matters, appraisal of business proposals, arranging working capital and term loans from Banks and Financial Institutions.

Before joining the Board as Director – Finance, he rendered his service to USL as a Consultant for 12 years. His assignments involved arranging required working capital through consortium banks, long terms funds through Financial Institutions, compliance of Income Tax and Service Tax laws, compliance of Foreign Exchange Management Act, etc. He was instrumental in reducing the cost of borrowings through ECB borrowings and the issuance of Commercials Papers.
